Charms! Specifically Domino charms. Before I go further I should warn you that these are seriously addicting!

I've used mini dominos as my base. You can use any picture, or piece of picture (copyright honorable of course) and glue down to your domino. These are from "Skinny Mini Potpourri" by "Altered by Design" (www.alteredbydesign.com) which I bought at Joggles. Finish your edges with a metalic leafing pen, coat with several layers of dimension lacquer and add wires and charms. I'm experimenting now with dyes, transparancies and stamps. I'm also using larger dominos to make necklaces. Hope to post more pics soon.

My First Doll Street Visitor

...is Alexis! By Drusilla Esslinger, this lovely lady will be spending 3 weeks with me as a virtual vacation. She's already taken a tour of the garden and this is her favorite spot, the beginning of what we call the "fairy trail." Note that she came well prepared with her own camera!

Finally a doll is born

After 5 long months, I've got enough range of motion back in my hand and wrist to begin some creative work again. I signed up on Doll Street to do a Travelling Doll. Not a swap, the dolls go about and visit others in the group, exchanging gifts and sharing photos from the different locations. Great fun. My doll is off to visit Dayton Ohio and I'll be entertaining a doll from Madison Kansas next week.
The pattern for this doll, as well as the terriffic idea is from the brilliant Angela Jerichi.
